So, who is this guy?
1992
Popped into the world at a hospital right outside San Francisco (shoutout Menlo Park, California). That’s when I knew—Giants and 49ers fandom was my birthright, non-negotiable.
LOYAL
2001
Relocated to Oregon, where I picked up a few tricks—surfing, skimboarding, digging razor clams, shucking oysters, cracking Dungeness crab, mowing lawns, and kicking back with The Goonies every time the rain hit, which, let’s be honest, was a lot.
CONTINUOUS LEARNER
2009
Attended high school in Portland and snagged a spot on the freshman varsity lacrosse team—5’2”, 115 pounds dripping wet, a total beast, obviously. Cool, huh? Except I didn’t play a single minute that year. Still, I cheered from the sidelines like a maniac—out-hustled the bleacher fans without breaking a sweat.
TEAM PLAYER
2011
Kicked off a clothing company in Portland—sold out our shirts in a flash. Felt like a millionaire, ready to retire. Then I checked the haul: $200. Turns out, that’s not yacht money. So, I bounced around—busboy, barback, server in restaurants, greenskeeping on golf courses, landscaping, construction, youth sports coaching, even K-9 training. Basically, if it paid, I probably tried it.
LEARNS FROM MISTAKES
2014
Attended the University of Arizona in Tucson. Quickly realized there’s real money in cleaning pools.
IDEA GUY
2015
Met Dustin Hoffman at a crosswalk in Los Angeles. Panicked and asked him for directions to Starbucks… which was directly in front of us (and I knew that). His directions did not disappoint.
QUICK ON MY FEET
2016
Transferred to Montana State University in Bozeman. Learned how to fly fish, ride horses, wrangle cattle, polish cowboy boots, stack bales of hay, and shovel snow (a lot of snow).
ISN’T AFRAID TO GET DIRTY
Summer of 2017
Took a summer internship at Michael Patrick Partners as a marketing coordinator. Got a crash course in brand development and learned that good design is worth every penny.
STARTED YOUNG
2018
Started an app and brand development firm with three friends. Had no clue what we were doing but figured it out fast. Two months in, we had three clients (one of them was someone’s dad, but hey, business is business).
ENTREPRENEURIAL MINDSET
Summer of 2018
Worked at a high-end men’s retail shop in Bozeman. Put my resume on Craigslist looking for “an adventure.” Two weeks later, a woman walked in asking for me by name. Twenty minutes later, I had a 4-month contract as an Event Coordinator for National Geographic, managing 175+ outdoor extraordinaires while they filmed Yellowstone Live on the Nat Geo Network.
RISK TAKER
2019
Took a 2-month internship at a digital advertising agency in Denver. Got offered a full-time position and signed immediately. Managed Amazon accounts like A2 Milk, Spinning, Milani, Honey Bunchies, and more.
VERSATILE
2020
Wanted to master the art of cold calling. Took a job as a recruiter (more so, a headhunter) in Denver staffing industrial water/wastewater projects across the U.S. Learned how to dial, pitch, and close.
ISN’T AFRAID TO PICK UP THE PHONE
END OF 2020
COVID-19 hit, and everyone was granted remote work, so I packed my bags and moved to Florida. The ocean was calling my name.
LOVES THE WATER
MIDDLE OF 2021
Got a call from my old employer, Michael Patrick Partners. They needed someone to handle sales and business development. I took the job.
KNOWS WHAT HE WANTS
2022
Wanted to spend my weekends underneath the surface of the ocean. Became certified as an advanced rescue scuba diver. Swam with a few sharks, too.
CAN PASS TESTS
2022—TWO MONTHS LATER
Saved my best friend's life from drowning. See, I knew that water rescue certification would come in handy.
SAVES LIVES
2024
Picked up the largest account Michael Patrick Partners had seen in five years. Drinks were on me that night.
GO-GETTER
2025—
Due to unforeseen circumstances, MPP shut its doors in 2024. I was laid off. And since money doesn’t grow on trees, I moved to Arizona and started working at a golf course—all while waiting for the right opportunity to come knocking on my door. In my free time, I earned my EMT certification in Arizona—because knowing how to save a life seemed like a skill worth having.
TO BE DETERMINED
